01 — Approach

Restoring bore geometry where the machine works.

Mobile line boring restores the geometry and coaxial alignment of worn pin bores in booms, buckets, joints and heavy-equipment frames. It can reduce the need to dismantle and transport large assemblies.

Before intervention, we review machine type, diameters, access, wear, material and required tolerances. Weld build-up, machining and verification are defined only after measurement and review of site conditions.

03Scope

Applications assessed

  • Boom and bucket pin bores
  • Excavator, loader and industrial-equipment joints
  • Dimensional restoration after weld build-up
  • Final alignment and dimensional verification

04Process

Proposed intervention flow

01

Diagnosis

We identify wear, geometry, access and operating requirements.

02

Preparation

We define mounting, alignment, materials and work sequence.

03

Build-up and boring

Operations follow the confirmed project-specific technical solution.

04

Verification

We measure diameter and alignment before reassembly.

05Documentation

Information required for assessment

Send machine make and model, overall and close-up photographs, nominal diameters, assembly width, location and available downtime. Effective capacity, tolerances and schedule are confirmed in the technical quotation.

06Technical clarifications

Useful questions before quotation.

What does STEEL PIPE WELD offer for mobile line boring for heavy equipment?

Controlled restoration of worn bores directly on the machine, reducing major disassembly and transport requirements. Capability in development · availability confirmed per project

What information is needed to quote “Mobile line boring for heavy equipment”?

Send machine make and model, overall and close-up photographs, nominal diameters, assembly width, location and available downtime. Effective capacity, tolerances and schedule are confirmed in the technical quotation.

What work is covered by the technical assessment?

Boom and bucket pin bores; Excavator, loader and industrial-equipment joints; Dimensional restoration after weld build-up; Final alignment and dimensional verification. The final scope is defined after reviewing the project and site conditions.

How is the work process organised?

Diagnosis: We identify wear, geometry, access and operating requirements. Preparation: We define mounting, alignment, materials and work sequence. Build-up and boring: Operations follow the confirmed project-specific technical solution. Verification: We measure diameter and alignment before reassembly.

Can a price be confirmed from photographs alone?

Photographs support an initial assessment but do not replace dimensions, quantities, materials and access conditions. Price, schedule, transport and included work are defined in the quotation for the specific project.

What evidence should support technical performance claims?

Request documents applicable to the quoted configuration: drawings, materials, inspections and, where required by the project, test reports or certificates. A photograph or commercial name alone does not demonstrate a protection rating or certified performance.
